Operation
LOUDNESS:
The LOUDNESS function boosts low and high frequencies - it is intended only to be
used at low listening levels.
The function is controlled by the LOUDNESS button.
LOUDNESS ON - [LOUDNESS ON] will be displayed.
To disengage the function, press the button until [OFF] is displayed.
Note! The LOUDNESS function disengages the settings of the BASS / TREBLE
regulation or the currently selected sound control function (P-EQ or S-BASS).
S-BASS super bass:
The S-BASS function is used to reinforce the quality and strength of the bass output - it
is intended only to be used at low listening levels.
The function is controlled by the S-BASS button.
S-BASS ON – [S-Bass ON] will be displayed.
To disengage the function, press the button until [OFF] is displayed.
Note! The S-BASS function disengages the settings of the BASS / TREBLE regulation
or the currently selected sound control function (P-EQ or LOUDNESS).
Using the P-EQ / BASS / TREBLE / LOUDNESS / S-BASS functions at high
volume levels may damage this CD-Receiver and / or speakers.
This may void your warranty.

Headphone Connection

Headphone connection (PHONES):
When headphones are plugged to the headphone output (Phones) the transmission of
sound to the speakers and the subwoofer is switched off.
The speakers and the subwoofer will be active again after disconnecting the headpho-
nes.
The volume of the headphones is regulated by the volume regulation.
All sound regulations (P-EQ / BASS / TREBLE / LOUDNESS / S-BASS) will affect the
sound transmitted to the headphones.
Listening at high volume may cause hearing damage.
