USING YOUR POUR-OVER COFFEE MAKER IN AUTOMATIC MODE

Before First Use: Remove protective foam from the base of the Pour-Over Coffee Maker.

  1. Place paper filter into the filter holder. Tap On/Tare to turn on the Pour-Over Coffee Maker.
    The display will read "CUP". An arrow indicator on the right side of the display will be pointing toward the cup icon.
  2. Tap Adjust to select between 1-4 cups. Tap Confirm to set the desired amount.
    An arrow indicator on the bottom of the display will be pointing toward the strength options.
  3. Tap Adjust to select one of the three strengths. Tap Confirm to set.
    The arrow indicator on the right side of the display will point toward the grinds icon and the display will show amount of grinds to use.
  4. Add indicated amount of grinds into the filter. As you add grinds, the display will show the remaining amount to add. Once you add the correct amount, the Pour-Over Coffee Maker will beep. If you add too much, the display will read "HHH".
  5. When amount reaches 0, tap Confirm.
    The arrow indicator on the right side of the display will point toward the water icon. The display will indicate amount of water to add.
  6. Slowly pour the indicated amount of water onto the grinds. As you pour water, the display will show the remaining amount to add. Once you add the correct amount the Pour-Over Coffee Maker will beep. If you add too much, the display will read "HHH".

Notes:

  • To switch between measuring grams/milliliters and ounces, press and hold Mode/Unit.
  • To switch between Automatic and Manual modes, tap Mode/Unit.
    In Automatic mode the display will briefly read "CUP".
    In Manual mode the display will briefly read "000".
  • To turn machine off, press and hold On/Tare button.

USING YOUR POUR OVER COFFEE MAKER IN MANUAL MODE

To switch to manual mode see note above. In this mode the Pour-Over Coffee Maker will serve as a scale.
Add grinds as desired. Then tap On/Tare and add the desired amount of water.

CLEANING

Clean the Filter Holder and Carafe with hot water, some dishwashing soap, and a non-abrasive sponge.

BATTERIES
Use 3 AAA batteries to power the Pour-Over Coffee Maker (batteries not included).
Insert the batteries into the holder on the bottom of the unit, following the + and - symbols.
Note: If display reads "L0, " replace the batteries.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

BEFORE USING THE ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, THE FOLLOWING BASIC PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED:

  1. This appliance is for household use only.
  2. Do not use appliance outdoors.
  3. Remove all packaging from the appliance before using.
  4. Wash and dry all removable parts of the appliance before first use.
  5. Do not operate the appliance near flammable materials, such as walls, curtains, towels, etc.
  6. To protect against fire, electrical shock or injury, do not immerse unit in water or any other liquid.
  7. Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use. Keep the appliance out of reach of children and people with limited capabilities.
  8. Do not place on or near a gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
  9. If the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner, do not use it. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for repair.
  10. Any accessory attachments which were not provided by the appliance manufacturer should not be used. They may result in fire, electric shock, or cause injuries.
  11. The appliance should be placed on flat and dry surface. Do not place the machine on the edge of desk or table.
  12. Do not touch or move the machine while it is in use.
  13. Store in a cool, dry place.
  14. Do not allow the appliance to be exposed to sun, rain etc.
  15. Do not apply more than six pounds of pressure onto the Pour-Over Coffee Maker.
