2.6.1 Link Information
Click the Link Information tab to see general information about the program and its operation.
The following table describes the items found on the Link Information screen.
Profile Name The name of the current selected configuration profile. Set up the
SSID
Link Status Shows whether the station is associated to the wireless network.
Network Type The type of network the station is connected to. The options include:
Wireless Mode Displays the wireless mode. 802.11g or 11b
Channel Shows the currently connected channel.
Transmit Rate Displays the current transmit rate in Mbps.
AP MAC Address Displays the MAC address of the access point the wireless adapter is
Security Shows the security type – Disable, WEP, WPA/WPA2,
Authentication Displays the authentication mode.
IP Address Displays the computer's IP address.
Subnet Mask
Gateway
DNS Server Display DNS server address
Algorithm State Three states will be shown.

Remaining
Last Beacon RSSI Shows the strength of the signal.
Antenna Mode Four modes selection
Wireless Network Status
configuration name on the Profile tab.
Displays the wireless network name.
Infrastructure (access point)
Ad Hoc
associated to.
Security Status
WAP-PSK/WAP2-PSK or 802.1X
TCP/IP Status
Displays subnet mask
Displays gateway address
Smart Antenna Status
Startup – device enabled
Initial_scan – initial scan or re-scan after device enabled
Sustained_use – one of the three antennas is enabled
To show you how many beacons remaining to do re-scan (total 1200
becans)
Omni – select this mode to use the omni antenna
Right – select this mode to use the right antenna
Left – select this mode to use the left antenna
Auto – select this mode to enable auto antenna selection
by utility, depending on the signal strength received by the
three antennas. Utility will re-scan signal strength for every
two minutes.
