IMPORTANT! – READ BEFORE INSTALLATION
•
When installed in accordance with these instructions, the front protection bar does
not affect the operation of the vehicles SRS airbags.
•
This product must be installed exactly as per these instructions using only
hardware supplied.
•
Take a few moments to read instructions thoroughly before beginning work.
•
In the event of damage to any bar component please contact OFFROAD ANIMAL
to arrange repair/replacement of components.
•
Do not use this product for any vehicle make or model other than that specified on
these instructions.
•
Do not remove labels from this product.
•
This product and its fixings must not be modified in any way unless stated in these
fitting instructions.
•
The installation of this product is recommended for trained personnel.
•
These instructions are correct at time of publication. OFFROAD ANIMAL cannot
be held responsible for the impact of any changes subsequently made by the
vehicle manufacturer. If you find something has changed please contact us to let
us know!
•
During installation it is the duty of the installer to check correct
operation/clearances of all components.
•
If Instructions are to be printed for reference in the workshop, it is recommended
that they are printed in colour, for best legibility.

There are two types of chassis nut plates used on this TOOLS REQUIRED product. Identify the locations on chassis for installation of these nut plates.

Insert cable tie in a loop through center of offset type TOOLS REQUIRED nut plate, as shown. Cable Tie 6. Insert nut plate through rectangular hole in chassis Small screwdriver or punch whilst holding the cable tie in your hand.

Remove bolts securing the hand brake cable around the TOOLS REQUIRED rectangular hole in chassis, as shown. 12mm socket Cable ties 13. Insert cable tie in a loop through center of Inline type nut plate, as shown.

Fit one M6 Button head screw and to the rear nut TOOLS REQUIRED plate (inline type). 4mm Hex Key 15. Holding the cable tie, insert the nut plate through the Side cutters hole in the chassis.

Bend the nut plate stem to approximate shape shown and TOOLS REQUIRED insert backwards, through the bottom square shaped hole chassis cross member. 21. Point the stem through the large circular hole as shown and draw the nut plate up into the cavity.

Fit the front mount to the car, Using M10x30 bolt and flat TOOLS REQUIRED washers into the nut plate. 24. First fit bracket to fixed nut plate on side of chassis, ensuring that the heads of the M6 bolts securing the nut plate fit into the recesses.

Fit M8 Nutserts to the two holes in underside of chassis in TOOLS REQUIRED between the two rear nut plate locations. Nutsert Setting Tool It may be nessacary to open the holes to the correct 12mm...

Slide the step plate onto the main slider structural TOOLS REQUIRED extrusion. Align the nuts as they enter the T Slots on the extrusion. 37. Center the Step on the extrusion, by measuring distance from extrusion to tip of step, and adjusting until both sides are equal.

Feed nut into slot with something long and skinny (like a dowel or piece of all thread) Do centre ones Long Dowel or skinny stick first the move outwards.
