Cleaning the water tanks
Warning! Commercially-available
cleaning agents (all-purpose cleaners)
should never be used to clean the fresh
water tank!
– Only use sterilisation agents available
from specialist camping shops or pharma-
cies for cleaning. Follow the instructions
of the manufacturer.
If the water in the fresh water tank has
become putrid and the water in the waste
water tank has not been emptied in good
time, this can lead to odour problems.
The water tanks should be cleaned in the
following way:
– Empty the water tanks.
– Fill with sterilisation agent from a spe-
cialist camping shop or pharmacy. The
guidelines on mixing on the sterilisation
agent packet should be followed.
– Fill both tanks with fresh water and allow
the mixtures to work for a little while.
– Drain the mixtures and rinse the water
tanks and pipes with fresh water.
