Adding Fuel

Fuel Specifications
Type
Minimum octane rating
Ethanol
Methanol

Oil
Use only clean, fresh (no more than 30 days old), fuel
from a reputable source.
Using Stabilizer/Conditioner
Use fuel stabilizer/conditioner in the machine to keep
the fuel fresh longer when used as directed by the
fuel-stabilizer manufacturer.
Important:
Do not use fuel additives containing
methanol or ethanol.
Add the amount of fuel stabilizer/conditioner to fresh
fuel as directed by the fuel-stabilizer manufacturer.
Unleaded gasoline
87 (US) or 91 (research
octane; outside the US)
No more than 10% by volume
None
Less than 15% by volume
Do not add to the fuel
Filling the Fuel Tank
Fill the fuel tank as shown in
Adjusting the Handlebar
Height
The handlebar has 3 height positions to accommodate
varying user heights. When adjusting the height,
note that during normal tilling operation, the actual
handlebar position drops up to 25 cm (10 inches) from
normal height.
Remove the hardware from the handlebar assembly,
rotate the assembly to match the holes at the desired
position, and install the hardware.
Low height: Use holes B and C.
Middle height: Use holes C and D.
High height: Use holes A and D.
