The appliance tests resulted in the following performance:
II.D• DESCRIPTION•OF•TEST•RUNS•
RUN #1 (6 July 2017) Air control set at the targeted burn rate, burn time was 430
minutes with a category medium burn rate of 1.3 kg/hr. Took 1 minute to set the load
and let the door ajar for 5 minutes, and then closed. The air control was open for 16
minutes or when 15% of the load weight has been consumed, and then set at the
targeted burn rate. The fan energized and set at low speed at 30 minutes.
RUN #2 (7 July 2017) Air control set at the targeted burn rate, burn time was 490
minutes with a category Low burn rate of 1.1 kg/hr. Load within 1 minute let the door
ajar for 5 minutes, and then closed. The air control was open for 16 minutes or when
15% of the load weight has been consumed, and then set at the targeted burn rate.
The fan was energized and set at low speed at 30 minutes.
RUN #3 (13 July 2017) Air control set fully opened, burn time was 280 minutes with a
category High burn rate of 2.6 kg/hr. The door was open for 5 minutes, then closed.
The air control was fully opened. Fan was energized and set at full speed. For this
run, emission collection started with a cold unit.
