Check to be sure the shoulder straps

are snug against your child. Pull the
shoulder straps away from your child's
chest. They should not move more than
one inch (two fingers) from your child's
chest. If the shoulder straps are loose,
tighten them (refer to page 35, step 5.)
WARNING
NEVER allow the shoulder straps
to be loose around your child. If
the shoulder straps are not snug
against your child, your child
will not be properly restrained.
