6. Adjust the chain tension until the gap
between the drive teeth and bar is
between 4 and 5.5 mm.
To increase the chain tension, turn the
chain tensioning screw clockwise.
To reduce the chain tension, turn the
chain tensioning screw counterclockwise.
NOTE: Frequently check the chain
tension while turning the chain tensioning
screw.
7. Tighten the bar mounting nut.

1. Remove the battery pack.
2. Loosen the bar mounting nut.
