SYMPTOM

POSSIBLE CAUSE
1.
Wye Delta switch time set
too long.
2.
Minimum Pressure/Check
Valve is faulty.
3.
Supply voltage is too low.
1.
Restricted air filter.
2.
Sticking inlet valve.
3.
Minimum pressure valve
stuck closed.
4.
Leaks in the compressed
air system.
5.
Aftercooler is frozen
6.
Unload pressure adjusted
too low.
1.
Oil carryover through
lines.
2.
Oil leaks at all fittings and
gaskets.
3.
Shaft seal leaking.
1.
Thermostatic mixing valve
stuck open.
2.
Dirty or clogged cooler
face.
3.
Insufficient cooling air flow
4.
Clogged oil filter or cooler
(interior)
5.
Low compressor oil.

REMEDY
1.
Contact your Gardner
Denver distributor.
2.
Repair or replace.
3.
Check the supply voltage.
1.
Clean or replace filter.
2.
Inspect and clean inlet
valve.
3.
Replace valve.
4.
Check for leaks, fix any
leaks found.
5.
Thaw out. This machine
cannot operate in
temperatures below 32° F
(0° C).
6.
Adjust the unload
pressure. See Manual
13-17-600.
1.
See "Oil Carryover", in this
section.
2.
Tighten or replace fittings
or gaskets.
3.
Replace shaft seal.
1.
Repair or replace valve.
2.
Clean cooler.
3.
Provide unrestricted
supply of cooling air.
4.
Replace filter or clear
cooler.
5.
Add oil to proper level.
