Installation and connection
4.1 Installing and connecting
the appliance
The gas connection must be estab-
lished via a gas hose or a fixed con-
nection.
WARNING
Risk of explosion!
Escaping gas may cause an explo-
sion
If the alignment of the gas inlet
nozzle has to be changed to allow
connection to a gas cylinder, con-
tact customer service.

Ensure that electrical appliances or
fuel-burning appliances are in-
stalled at a safe distance from the
LPG installation: as the cooker, the
hose, the regulator and the gas
cylinder.
Note
Observe this information when you
are using a gas hose:
¡ The hose clamp is not included.
Hose clamps are available at any
hardware shops.
¡ The gas hose must be short and
completely leak-tight.
¡ Do not extend the gas hose from
one room to another. Do not route
the gas hose through doors, win-
dows, walls, separating walls, con-
crete plates, ceilings or floors.
¡ An approved connection to the
gas connection must be secured.
Use a gas hose approved by the
local authorities for the gas con-
nection. We recommend using an
ISI-labelled gas hose.
