The device is designed for professional use and is not suitable for use in households. Use the device only as described in this user manual. Any other use or use under other operating conditions is considered to be improper and may result in personal injury or property damage.

    Installation Installation Unpack and check carefully there is no transportation damage before using the unit. Keep the equipment packaging. To fully protect the product against vibration, dust and moisture during transportation or storage use the original packaging or your own packaging material suitable for transport or storage, respectively. Lift the device only at the base.
  • Page 10 Installation NOTICE! Risk of overheating and fire due to improper placement of the light source. Light sources that are operated in the immediate vicinity of flammable materials and are not sufficiently ventilated, can overheat and cause fires. Make sure that flammable materials are more than 12 m away. The dis‐ tance to inflammable materials must be at least 2 m.

    Starting up Starting up Create all connections while the device is off. Use the shortest possible high-quality cables for all connections. Take care when running the cables to prevent tripping hazards. Connections in DMX mode Connect the DMX input of the device to the DMX output of a DMX controller or another DMX device.

Use [UP] and [DOWN] to select the ‘Program’ menu item and confirm with [ENTER]. Now use [UP] and [DOWN] to select one of the available programmes ‘1’ … ‘9’ and confirm with [ENTER].

    Maintenance Maintenance 8.1 Installing and replacing the lamp DANGER! Risk of death from electrical current! The device contains parts where high voltage is present. Disconnect the device completely from the power supply before opening or removing covers. Do not reconnect the unit until the covers are fully refitted and tightly closed.
  • Page 21 Maintenance WARNING! Danger of burns and eye injuries caused by high light intensity! The light source used in this device produces visible and invisible light beams of high intensity. Looking directly into the light source can damage the eyes. Extended skin exposure can result in burns. Never look directly into the light source.
  • Page 22 Maintenance Procedure Remove one of the covers from the head of the unit. To do this, loosen the four cross-head screws using a suitable screwdriver. Then carefully remove the cover from the unit. Tilt the head to the opposite side. Loosen the four Phillips screws and remove this cover also.
  • Page 23 Maintenance Carefully press down on the light source from above, so that the retainers slightly bend back. Tilt the light source slightly towards you to release it from the bracket. Carefully guide the light source upwards out of the bracket. Unscrew the power supply cables from the old light source and connect the power cables to the new light source.
