Filling and bleeding

4.1

Filling and bleeding the water heater and heating system

The pressure in the heating system must never exceed 6 bar.
Caution
Bleed the system thoroughly!
Leave all radiator valves fully open.

1. Fill the system with cold water by opening the filler valve on the valve pipe to a pressure of 1 bar.
2. Open all radiator valves fully.
3. Bleed all radiators.
4. Refill the heating system to a pressure of min. 1 bar.
5. Repeat the procedure until all air has been removed.
6. Check the system for leakage.

Introduction
Before the brine circuit is filled, the electrical installation must be com-

pleted and checked so that the brine pump can be manoeuvred.
Always check local rules and regulations before filling with antifreeze.
Caution
The pressure in the brine circuit must never exceed 6 bar, and the dif-

ferential pressure must be at least 1.2 bar.
Bleed the system thoroughly!
Antifreeze with anti-corrosive properties must be used so that frost

protection down to -17 ±2°C is achieved.
