PROBLEM
Motor not running.
Motor runs, cutting
disk remains still.
It is difficult to cut
materials.
Cutting wheel runs
irregularly/vibrates.
Cutting wheel is
discolored.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. No power.
1. Arbor nut loose.
1. Tile cutting wheel is dull.
1. Cutting wheel warped.
2. Cutting wheel fitted incorrectly.
1. Insufficient cooling water.
2. Lateral friction caused by runout.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1. Check cable, plug, socket, and fuse.
1. Check the inner washer and outer
washer are seated correctly and then
tighten the arbor nut if necessary.
1. Replace the cutting wheel.
1. Replace the cutting wheel.
2. Fit the cutting wheel correctly.
1. Fill the basin with sufficient water.
2. Guide workpiece through cutting wheel
more slowly.
