MEDIA PLAYBACK

External storage device

To access media playback mode, insert a USB drive containing files of the
following type into the TV's USB input port. Next, from the Home Dashboard,
select the storage device (USB drive). You will be given an option to read the
device for Photo & Video files, Music files, or view Recordings (Programmes
recorded on the TV).
You can also open the USB media menu directly from the source/input list,
by pressing the
Source button on the remote control and browsing the Storage
options.
The following media file formats are supported:
Data
Photo
Audio
FLAC, MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA
3GP, 3G2, ASF, AVI, DAT, MKV, MOV, MP4, MPG,
Video
MPEG, MTS, TP, TRP, TS, VOB, WMV
Alongside flashdrives, the TV's USB port is also capable of reading from
devices such as digital cameras and USB hard disks.
NOTES
• A video file and its subtitle file must be in the same folder. For subtitles to be
displayed properly, make sure that the video file and the subtitle file have the
same name.
• Some user-created subtitles may not work properly.
• Subtitles on a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device may not be supported.
• Streams that include Global Motion Compensation (GMC) and Quarterpel
Motion Estimation (Qpel) are not supported.
• ULTRA HD video (ULTRA HD models only): 3840x2160, 4096x2160
• Some HEVC-encoded ULTRA HD videos other than the content o cially
provided by the manufacturer may not be played. Some codecs can be
supported a er a so ware upgrade.

Supported external subtitles:
SMI, SRT, SUB (MicroDVD, SubViewer 1.0/2.0), SSA (Sub Station Alpha), ASS
(Advanced Sub Station Alpha), TXT (TMPlayer), PSB (PowerDivX), DCS (DLP
Cinema)
Supported embedded subtitles:
MKV files: SSA, ASS, SRT; MP4 files: Timed Text
Share computer content (Windows 10)
When connected to the same network, media files from your PC can be
watched on the TV.
On your PC, right click the file and select "Cast to Device". Select the name
of the TV, and Playback will begin. Playback rate may vary depending on the
network connection.
Browse computer content from TV (Windows 10)
On your PC (connected to the same network), open the Start menu and search
'Media Streaming Options', selecting the Control Panel option by that name.
Select 'Turn on media streaming' from the window that appears, and allow all
of the media streaming options. Select 'OK' to save the settings.
Now on the TV's Home Dashboard, the PC will appear as a media option,
allowing you to browse and select the available files.
