Rear Folding Seats

The rear triple bench seats in the Ford Freedom can be
folded forward to create additional space if required.
Ensure the front seats are far enough forward to allow the
rear seats to fold into the stowed position. The front seats
can be moved back once the fold is completed.
The following photographs show the double seat being
folded but the folding mechanism is the same for the
single rear seat as well.
A. Pull the black seat release tag located at the bottom of
the seat
shown
B. Locate the red seat release tag on the rear of the seat
fig.3 . Pull the tag upwards, which will allow you to lift
up the seats and fold them forward
C. Secure the seat for travelling by unclipping the support
leg on the underside of the seat

D. Repeat steps A, B & C for any other rear seats which you
would like to fold forward.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Folding or unfolding the seats must only be done when
the vehicle is stationary.
Ensure the seats are fully secured in the forward position.
A seat that is not correctly stowed compromises the safety
of passengers in the event of sudden braking.
