Will the battery
deteriorate if not used

period of time?

Answer
The battery will deteriorate if
not used for over 6 months,
so make sure to perform a
full charge at least once
every 6 months.
The battery used is a
lithium‑ion, so charging after
every use will have no effect
on battery life.
Check the skin condition,
and use LOTION shaving,
MOISTURIZING mode or
PURIFYING mode up to
15 minutes per day.
Using each mode once for
3 minutes per day is
recommended.
Do not apply too much force
to the ion plate.
Press the appliance gently
so as not to harm the skin.

My skin tingles, why
is this?
What should I do if the
appliance becomes
difficult to slide or it
has difficulty detecting
the skin during
LOTION shaving,
MOISTURIZING
mode or PURIFYING
mode?
What should I do if
there is lotion
containing beard
trimmings or hair
remaining on the skin?
Answer
If there is too little lotion,
you may feel stimulation.
Apply more lotion or turn the
ion level to "LOW" when
using the appliance. (See
page 45.)
Apply more lotion.
Some lotion may remain on
the skin depending on the
beard thickness or the
viscosity or amount of lotion.
Wipe clean with a tissue.
(Washing your face will
reduce the penetrating
effect of the lotion.)
Wash the main body with
water after each use, and
apply oil to the blades.
