No hardware settings are required for this situation.
Make sure that the parts holder with a shortcut between 6 and 8 is in the socket (marked "X2").
When starting the integrated debugger (ID78K0-NS), open the configuration dialog and select "External"
in the area (Clock) for selecting the CPU's clock source (this selects the user's clock).
