- Do no use the machine under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
- If hard material such as ice or rocks gets into the feed opening, it may damage the machine.
If you notice this happening, ensure the machine operates properly before continuing to
work.
- Avoid all solid material from getting into the feed opening.
- Never wear jewellery or loose clothing as they can be caught in moving or rotating parts.
- Handle fuel with care – it is highly flammable.
- Never refuel while the engine is running or hot.
- Refuel only outdoors.
- After refuelling, make sure the fuel tank cap is properly closed, and carefully wipe up all
spilled fuel.
- Be careful when working near ditches or fences.
- Make sure the machine is fully raised from the ground during transportation.
- Do not use the machine indoors.
- Make sure the working area has sufficient lighting.
- Do not overload the machine by using it in too deep snow or by driving too fast.
- When turning near buildings or narrow areas, be sure to allow sufficient distance to build-
ings, vehicles and people.
- The snow blower is delivered "dry" so you need to add 1,1 liters of 5W-30 engine oil before
first use.
- The maximum travelling speed when using the snow blower is 5 km/h.
- Wear appropriate winter clothing.
- When removing snow, adapt the speed to local conditions and to the thickness of snow
layer.
- When you remove snow, always remember about vehicles and people moving around.
When you notice any danger, you must stop working or direct the snow exhaust stream in
another safe direction. The distance to people, animals and buildings must be at least 15
meters.
- If you are working near buildings or in an area where there may be bystanders, you should
keep adequate safety distance. The working area should be protected against accidentally
getting these people near the machine.
- Before starting and during snow blower operation the user must be sure that in the danger
zone there are no people (especially children) or animals. In addition, if there is no possibil-
ity to direct snow in appropriate direction, it is not allowed to operate the snow blower near
glazed objects such as windows or cars.
- When working on slippery roads and during tight curves you should take special caution
due to sudden changes in the direction of snow ejection.
Warning signs
- All warning signs are located on the snow blower body.
- The signs should be always legible and clear, visible for staff and for those who may appear
near snow blower working area.
- When any sign loses legibility or has been lost, replace it with a new one.
- All the elements replaced in the snow blower and associated with repairs, which have la-
belled warning signs, should be provided with these signs.
- Warning signs can be purchased from the manufacturer.
