Changing Presser Foot

• To remove
Turn the handwheel toward you to raise the
needle to its highest position. Press the lever q
on the back of the foot holder. The presser foot
will drop off.
• To attach
Place the presser foot so the pin e on the foot
lines up just under the groove w of the foot
holder. Lower the foot holder to lock the foot in
place.

To Remove and Attach the Foot Holder

q Thumb screw
w Foot holder
e Presser bar
• To remove
Remove the thumb screw q by turning it
counterclockwise with a screwdriver.
• To attach
Match the hole in the foot holder w with the
threaded hole in the presser bar e. Fit the
thumb screw q into the hole. Tighten the
screw q by turning it clockwise with screwdriver.

To Drop or Raise the Feed Dogs

z The drop feed lever is located in the hook area.
Open the hook cover.
q Hook cover
x To drop the feed dogs, press the lever in the
direction of the arrow, as illustrated.
w Lever
c To raise the feed dogs, push the lever in the
direction of the arrow, as illustrated, and turn
handwheel towards you. Feed dogs must be
up for normal sewing.
