Performing Print Head Adjustment

Lift the release lever.

Insert paper for print head adjustment.
Insert only 1 sheet in the portrait orientation with the printing surface facing up. Insert the paper between the platen (A) and the paper
retainer (B).

Align the position of the paper.
Load the paper aligned with the paper alignment lines (A) to ensure that the paper is not loaded askew, and align the leading edge of the
paper with the front side of the line (B).

Select Manual.
Important
● Never touch the area shown shaded in the diagram.
This can cause damage to the printer.
Important
When using the GP-520 without the printer stand
● Load the paper for print head adjustment in
the landscape orientation. If it is loaded in the
portrait orientation, a paper jam may occur.
● 2 sheets of paper may be required in some
cases.
