Advanced BIOS Features
Quick Boot
Setting the item to Enabled allows the system to boot within 5 seconds since
it will skip some check items. Available options: Enabled, Disabled.
Anti-Virus Protection
The item is to set the Virus Warning feature for IDE Hard Disk boot sector
protection. If the function is enabled and any attempt to write data into this
area is made, BIOS will display a warning message on screen and beep.
Settings: Disabled and Enabled.
CPU Internal/External Cache
Cache memory is additional memory that is much faster than conventional
DRAM (system memory). When the CPU requests data, the system transfers
the requested data from the main DRAM into cache memory, for even faster
access by the CPU. The settings enable/disable the internal cache (also known
as L1 or level 1 cache) and external cache (also known as L2 or level 2 cache).
Setting options: Disabled, Enabled.
CPU L2 Cache ECC Checking
This setting allows you to enable or disable the ECC (Error-Correcting Code)
feature for error detection and correction when data passes through L2 cache
memory. Setting options: Enabled, Disabled.
