The probe must be mounted opposite the
agitator. If possible, check whether a
non-contact process, ultrasonic or
level-radar would be better suited,
particularly if the agitator generates large
mechanical loads on the probe
2.2.4 Notes on special installation situations
Installation at an angle
• For mechanical reasons, the probe should
be installed as vertically as possible.
• The maximum mounting angle is
– up to 1 m = 30°
– up to 2 m = 10°
– up to 4 m = 5°
