External electrode with cable (ACP only)
Plug the external electrode
fasten the electrode around your own wrist or arm, for treatment of another
person around their wrist or arm. Now you can hold the MEDISANA ACS/ACP
as you wish, without having to concentrate on keeping contact with the contact
electrode
or - when treating someone else - without having to touch the
person being treated more than necessary. The completed circuit is ensured by
attaching the external electrode. This enables more convenient treatment.
NOTE
You can also improve the contact with the external
electrode by slightly moistening the electrode before applying
it to the skin.
Why does my device sometimes indicate no acupuncture points?
1. For self-treatment
Do you have contact with the contact electrode
always be complete. Hold the MEDISANA ACS/ACP in such a way that at least
one finger is touching the contact electrode.
2. For treatment of others
Have you completed the electric circuit, i.e. contact with the person being
treated? For treatment with the use of the external electrode: Is the external
electrode properly applied, i.e. securely on the non-oily skin? Is the connection
cable connected tightly in the jack

3. For treatment with the acupuncture tip
Does the attached tip have contact with the device? If necessary, remove it
once and replace it, turning it in order to restore contact.
How do I turn off the sound?
Plug in the earphone. Now you can no longer hear the sound in the treatment
environment, but only through the earphone. The display of the acupuncture
points is still indicated additionally by means of the optical signals
Can the electricity harm me?
No, because the intensity of the electrical impulses is so low that it is fully
harmless even when applied over a longer period of time. The intensity should,
however, be adjusted depending on the sensitivity of the application point. For
example, the skin in the facial area is more sensitive than on the hand. For each
new stimulation of a point, you should therefore begin with the lowest level of
intensity, increasing it gradually according to individual preference (see also:
"Adjusting the intensity"). The treatment should never be unpleasant.
