By purchasing the ACS/ACP Electro-acupuncture unit, you have acquired a
quality product by MEDISANA.
This unit is intended for manual treatment by means of acupuncture.
In order to ensure that you achieve the success desired and enjoy using your
MEDISANA Electro-Acupuncture unit ACS/ACP for a long time to come, we
recommend that you read the following instructions carefully on use and
maintenance of the device.
Please read the following safety information
carefully before using the device and keep these
instructions in a safe place for later use.
• Only use this unit according to the intended purpose as defined in the in-
structions for use.
• Do not use any auxiliary parts that have not been recommended by the maker.
• Do not put any foreign objects into any of the openings.
• Avoid contact with pointed or sharp objects. The warranty is null and void if
it is not used for the intended purpose.
• If the unit is to be used by or on people who are handicapped in any way or in
the presence of children, this must always be done under supervision.
Medical products are not designed to be used as a toy!
• Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself in the event of any defects. Not only
does this render the warranty null and void but you can also run the risk of
serious hazards (fire, electric shock, injury). Only have repairs carried out by
authorised service points.
• Never use the device in the bathtub or shower. If liquid should ever happen to
enter the device, the batteries must be removed immediately and the device
should no longer be used. Contact your dealer or our service point.
• Batteries must be deposited in special collection containers or returned to a
specialized dealer. Never put these in the household trash.
• Consult your doctor first before using this unit if you have diabetes or if you
are suffering from any other illness.
• Pregnant women should note the important precautionary measures and the
amount of stress they can take, consult your doctor first if necessary.
• Do not treat any parts of the body that have swellings,burns, inflammation,
peeling skin, wounds or other sensitive points.
• The treatment should be pleasant. Stop at once and consult your doctor if you
feel pain or if the treatment seems unpleasant.
