User Quick Guide
NOTE! This quick guide defines only basic steps on how to use
the equipment. For more detailed instructions refer to user
documentation provided with the unit.
Preparing the unit for all imaging programs
1.
Switch the unit and PC on. Start CLINIVIEW™ software.
2.
Select patient from the work list. Add new patient
information or search for the existing patient.
3. Press START PAN IMAGE button.
Unit is ready for exposure.
4. Select the imaging program. Select the needed
collimator, if the unit is with manual collimator.

5. Press PATIENT POSITIONING button.
Panoramic exposure
1.
Install the chin rest and the bite fork. Use hygienic covers.
Move the head support ahead and open the temple
supports.
2.
Ask the patient to remove all metallic items from head and
neck area.
3.
Guide the patient to the unit. Instruct to stand straight and
tall as possible and to take grip on handles.

4. Adjust the carriage to the proper height with UP
and DOWN buttons on the patient positioning
panel.
5. Ask patient to place the chin on the chin rest and
bite the bite fork.
6. The patient positioning lights are set
automatically on, when the unit used and stays on
about 35 seconds. If needed lights can be set on
again by pressing LIGHT button.

Patient positioning lights can be seen on patient's face
through the mirror. FH-light passes over the upper edge of
ear opening and the infra orbital notch.
12. After patient positioning press start button.
13. Confirm the READY-light is on in the control
panel. Start exposure. Press the exposure button
until the unit stops. The image is developed on the
monitor along the imaging progress.
14.
Release the exposure button, open the temple supports and
guide the patient out.
Use of pediatric collimator:
With manual collimator lift the collimator lever one step up.
With autocollimator select imaging program P1-P5 and activate
the pediatric collimation light indicator on the control panel.
Sector images: Select Manual
mode (M). Select with UP
arrow button the sector you do
not want exposure and accept
by OK button. Repeating the
procedure you can select one
or more sectors.
8. Adjust patient's head as necessary
so that the front light coincides with
the patient's mid-sagittal plane.
9. Release the head support by
pressing the brake push buttons.
Adjust the head support height. Move
the head support against the patient.
Close the temple supports.
10. Correct the image layer
according to patient's occlusion.
11. Ask patient to close lips and
swallow, raise tongue to the roof of
the mouth. Ask patient to remain still
and breathe normally during the
exposure.
