Shut down the control valve

Follow the steps below to shut down and disassemble the control valve for storage or
shipment.
PRESSURE HAZARD
The control valve is subject to pressurized fluids. Isolate the control valve upstream and
downstream.
Always depressurize the control valve before disassembly.
Failure to comply may cause high pressure fluids to leak, resulting in death or serious injury.

WARNING!
Ensure that the valve is free of contaminants.
Drain the valve of liquids.
Clean the valve components.
Label all parts or place parts in labeled containers during disassembly.
Do not use metal clamping devices in direct contact with control valve parts or
surfaces.
