INTRODUCTION

RESPONSIBILITIES
The customer/operator is responsible for carrying out the maintenance checks described in this
handbook to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the marine gearbox.
Each marine gearbox is covered by warranty, which is only valid if the instructions in this manual
are strictly adhered to.
ATTENTION
ZF PADOVA S.p.A. is not liable for any damage or loss caused by the incorrect installation,
improper use or lack of maintenance of the equipment.
ZF PADOVA S.p.A is not responsible for any torsional vibration caused by the incorrect interaction
between engine, shaft and propeller. This torsional vibration may damage the engine and/or
marine gearbox.
MARINE GEARBOX IDENTIFICATION
The identification plate is affixed to the marine gearbox itself.
