5. Refrigerant Piping

5.1 Piping Materials

(1) Prepare locally-supplied copper pipes.
(2) Select the piping size from the following table.

(3) Select clean copper pipes. Make sure there is no
 dust and moisture inside the copper tubing. Blow
 the pipes with nitrogen or dry air to remove dust
and foreign debris before connecting pipes.

5.2 Piping Connection

(1) Position of piping connection is shown in Fig. 5.1.(Indoor Unit)

(2) When tightening the flare nut, use two spanners
as shown in Fig. 5.2.

(3) After connecting the refrigerant piping, seal the
refrigerant pipes by using the factory-supplied
insulation material as shown in Fig

CAUTION
● Cover the end of the pipe with a cap while inserting
the pipe through a hole.
● Do not place pipes on the ground directly without
a cap or vinyl tape at the end of the pipe.
