9.2. Setting and checking of operations

In this instruction, there are two kinds of ways to press buttons, "press" and "press long."
For "press," press the button for less than 1 second. For "press long," press the button for
more than 1 second.
1. Turn the ignition ON. Confirm DC SOURCE LED of ADVANCE Control unit lights up.

2. Confirm the opening mode is performed.

3. Confirm that there is no error message of wire disconnection/short-circuit on the gauges
and displays.

If an error is displayed, turn the ignition off immediately, and then check the wiring of the
sensors and the sensor wires.
4. If a tachometer is installed to the ADVANCE System, set the number of cylinders and the
tachometer response. If displays are installed as well, settings for tachometer need to be
done in System Setup Mode of the display. The settings of display are applied to other
tachometers connected to the ADVANCE System. Refer to the display manual for setting.

If you do not install either display or tachometer, go to the next step.
5. Set warning values for all the connected gauges and displays. And then select
illumination color for gauges. Warning values for gauges and displays are set at the same
time.

6. Confirm gauges and displays function normally. Settings are finished by confirming the
operations.
