Remove the I/O board

Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.
"Remove the lower case" on page 30
"Remove the solid-state drive (SSD) " on page 32
Step 1.
Disconnect the battery pack cable from the system board.
Attention: Use your fingernails to pull the connector to unplug it. Do not pull the cable.
Step 2.
Disconnect the right fan cable from the system board and then release the EDP cable from the
cable guide.

Step 3.
Remove two screws and then remove the right fan.

Step 4.
Disconnect the I/O board cable from the I/O board. Remove four screws and then remove the I/O
board.
