CAUTION: To avoid potential scalding, do not open the lid while the unit is in operation. We recommend not keeping your unit plugged in overnight or for long periods of time. Once the devices are paired, the coffee maker will say audibly: "Connected." The light will remain blue as long as the coffee maker and the device are paired and both devices are turned on.
