Changing your Bluetooth settings

From the main menu, choose

Connectivity, then Bluetooth.
Choose Settings.

You can make changes to the following:
My device visibility - Choose from
Visible, Hidden or Visible for 1 min..
My device name - Enter a personalised
name to identify your GB230.
Supported services - Search for the
profile supported by GB230.
My address - View your Bluetooth
address.
Pairing with another Bluetooth
device
By pairing your GB230 and another device,
you can set up a passcode protected
connection. This means your communications
are more secure.
Check your Bluetooth is on and visible.

Select Search for new device from the

Bluetooth menu.

Your GB230 will search for devices.

When the search is completed Add and
Refresh will appear on screen.
Choose the device you want to pair with,

select Add, enter the passcode and
choose Select.
Your phone will then connect to the other

device, on which you should enter the
same passcode.
Your passcode-protected Bluetooth

connection is now ready.

Changing your security settings

Change your security settings to keep your
GB230 and the important information it holds
protected.
From the main menu, choose Settings, then
Security.
PIN code request - A PIN code can be
requested when you turn your phone on.
Handset lock - Choose when your security
code will be requested.
Change codes - Change your Security
code, PIN code or PIN2 code.
