Cleaning the filter housing
The filter housing should be
checked from time to time, and
cleaned when there is a build-up of
fluff there.
Quick cleaning
^ Use a vacuum cleaner to remove the
fluff
– from the cover in the door opening
(above), and
– from the area in front of the fan
(below) if the fluff filter has been
removed for cleaning.

– Fan
The fan behind the filter access panel
can become clogged with detergent
residues and fluff.
Check the fan from time to time, and
clean it if it becomes clogged.
^ Using a damp cloth, carefully clean
residues from the impeller.
^ At the same time, clean the area in
front of the impeller.
^ Clean away fluff using a vacuum
cleaner.
^ Remove any fluff from the inside of
the open access panel and the
rubber seal, taking care not to
damage the seal.
