Installing the Trapsnake™ Driver
(Sold Separately)

tions provided with the power tool.
Before installing the Trapsnake™ Driver, ensure the
auger's crank arm and knob is properly stored in the
crank arm housing. Always remove the battery before
inserting or removing the Trapsnake™ Driver.
1. To install the Trapsnake™ Driver, press the Driver
connector into the Trapsnake™ Driver connection
until it is locked into place.
2. To remove the Trapsnake™ Driver, hold the auger
firmly by the nose and pull the Trapsnake™ Driver
and auger apart.

Operating the Auger with
the Trapsnake™ Driver

WARNING

Trapsnake™ Driver. The Driver may cause the
knob to spin rapidly and could be hazardous.
Using the forward/reverse switch:
1. For forward (clockwise) rotation, push in the for-
ward/reverse switch from the ► side of the tool.
Check the direction of rotation before use.
2. For reverse (counterclockwise) rotation, push in
the forward/reverse switch from the ◄ side of the
tool. Check direction of rotation before use.
3. To lock the trigger, push the forward/reverse
switch to the center position. The trigger will not
work while the forward/reverse switch is in the
center locked position. Always lock the trigger
or remove the battery pack before performing
maintenance, changing accessories, storing the
tool and any time the tool is not in use.
Starting, stopping and controlling speed:
The Trapsnake™ Driver may be used at any speed
from 0 RPM to full speed.
1. To start the Trapsnake™ Driver, insert an M12™
battery and pull the trigger.
2. To vary the driving speed, increase or decrease
pressure on the trigger. The further the trigger is
pulled, the greater the speed.
3. To stop the tool, release the trigger.
Inserting Auger Into Drain
There are three ways to use the auger - HAND
FEEDING, MANUAL cranking, and DRIVER driven.
Watch for these terms throughout the instruction for
more information.
1. DRIVER - Set the forward/reverse switch to the
forward position ►.
2. Check to make sure the cable lock is in the un-
locked position. If not, loosen the lock until the
cable can move freely.
