SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT
THE DEVICE MUST ALWAYS BE STORED AND TRANSPORTED UPRIGHT, OTHERWISE
IRREPARABLE DAMAGE MAY BE CAUSED TO THE COMPRESSOR. DO NOT OPERATE THE
DEVICE UNTIL 24 HOURS AFTER INSTALLATION.
Please read the instructions carefully before installing and/or using the device.

This appliance is intended for indoor use only.

This device should only be connected to a 220-240 V / 50 Hz grounded outlet.

The installation must comply with the regulations of the country where the device is used.

If you are in doubt about the suitability of your electrical supply, have it checked and, if

necessary, adjusted by a qualified electrician.
This air conditioner has been tested and is safe for use. However, as with any electrical

appliance, caution is required.
Unplug the unit before disassembling, assembling or cleaning it.

Do not touch the moving parts of the appliance.

Never insert fingers, pencils or other objects through the grille.

This device is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities. It is also not intended for use by persons lacking experience and knowledge unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
Do not allow children to operate this appliance unsupervised.

Do not clean the device by spraying or immersing it in water.

Never connect the appliance to an electrical outlet using an extension cord. If an electrical

outlet is not available, one should be installed by a qualified electrician.
Only use the appliance if it has been fully installed according to the instructions in this manual.

Never use the appliance if the cord or plug is damaged. Make sure the power cord is not

stretched or exposed to sharp objects/plugs.
A damaged power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified electrician to

avoid danger.
Any maintenance other than regular filter cleaning or replacement must be performed by an

authorized service representative. Failure to do so may void the warranty.
Do not use the device for purposes other than those for which it is intended.

Do not restart the unit until 3 minutes have elapsed since it was turned off. This prevents

damage to the compressor.
Never use the power plug as a switch to turn the device on or off. Use the ON/OFF button

provided on the control panel.
The appliance must not be installed in washrooms or humid areas.

The appliance must be installed in an area free of ignition sources (e.g.: open flames, a working

gas appliance or a working electric heater).
