    OPERATION Batteries Remove the battery compartment cover. Install 8 AA batteries paying close attention to the orientation of the polarity symbols (+/-). Replace the battery compartment cover. Note: Do not mix different kinds of batteries (e.g., alkaline, lithium, rechargeable). Never combine old and new batteries. •...
