About JUMPSURGE 1200

JUMPSURGE 1200 serves as a portable Jump Starter that delivers 1,200 peak amps for jump starting a 12V lead-acid battery in seconds. It supports quick and safe starts for 12V cars, boats, motorcycles, ATVs, lawnmowers, caravans, tractors, trucks, etc., up to 6.5-liter gasoline or 4.0-liter diesel engines, with 25 times boost capability on a single charge. It can also be used as a power bank to quickly charge electronic devices like phones and tablets, or supply power to DC devices.

Safety Cautions

Please read this user manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.

  1. ONLY use the battery clamps that come with this product.
  2. DO NOT use this product if the cable or the jump starter has any damage.
  3. This product can be only used for starting vehicles with 12 volt lead-acid batteries.
  4. Only jump start vehicles when the battery level of the jump starter is more than 50%.
  5. If the engine does not start successfully at the first try, disconnect the clamps from the vehicle battery and wait at least 20 seconds before reconnecting. DO NOT attempt more than 3 consecutive jump starts within 2 minutes.
  6. DO NOT put the product under direct sunlight or at hot areas.
  7. DO NOT disassemble the product by yourself.
  8. DO NOT place the product in high temperature environment for a long time. The working temperature is -10°C~40°C (14°F~104°F).
  9. Check the battery level of this product every two months and charge it regularly.
  10. A Lithium-ion battery is included in the product. Please dispose of it under local regulations at the end of its life.

A guide to Safety Indicator

Solid green The Jump Starter is ready for use.
Solid red Reverse polarity of battery clamps is detected.
Flash green The battery level of the vehicle is too low. Press the "BOOST" Button and wait until the Safety Indicator becomes solid green. Then start your vehicle within 30 seconds.
The indicator doesn't light up The battery of the vehicle may be totally dead. Make sure that you have correctly connected the clamps to the vehicle battery. Then press the "BOOST" Button and wait until the Safety Indicator becomes solid green. And then start your vehicle within 30 seconds.
Alternately flash red and green You have tried 4 jump starts within 10 minutes. Please disconnect the clamps and reconnect to try again.

A guide to LED Light

  • Press the Power Button once to turn on the jump starter.
  • Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds to turn on the LED Light. Then press the Power Button once separately to toggle between Flashlight, Strobe, SOS and OFF in turn.

Recharge the Jump Starter

The product comes partially charged and needs to be fully charged prior to use. Please charge your jump starter through the Type-C Input port once you receive it.

Make sure you have turned off all of the power loads of the vehicle, including headlights, radio, air conditioner, etc., before attempting to jump start the vehicle.

Step 1:
Plug the blue end of jumper cable into the Jump Start Socket.

Step 2:
Connect the clamps to the vehicle battery. Red clamp to positive polarity(+), black clamp to negative polarity(-). The Safety Indicator will be solid green which indicates it is ready for jump starting.

warning Note: Please check the connection if the Safety Indicator is abnormal or the buzzer rings.

Step 3:
Try to start the vehicle. If it fails, disconnect the clamps from the vehicle battery and wait about 20 seconds, then reconnect and try again. Do not attempt more than 3 consecutive jump starts within 2 minutes.

Step 4:
Remove the clamps from batteries, then separate the clamps and jump starter after cranking the vehicle successfully. Your jump starter will automatically power off in several seconds.

Other Functions

This jump starter is able to be used as a power bank.
Press the Power Button once to turn on the jump starter. Then you can quickly charge your phone or tablet through the USB Output Port. Or use it to supply DC power (Max 16.8V/10A) to devices through the DC Output Port.

  • Up to 25 times. It depends on the vehicle engine's power and vehicle battery's power.

Q2: How long does it take to recharge JS1200 fully?

  • It varies with different chargers.
    If your charger is 5V/3A, the charging time is 3 hours; if 5V/2A, then 4.5 hours.

Q3: How to turn off JS1200?

  • It will automatically power off without use.
