3 Features
The remote terminal is an indicator and operating unit in a fire detection installation
with the following functions:
Indication of events
'ALARM'
'Pre-ALARM'
'Trouble'
'Bypassed'
'Supervisory'
Operation
Silence buzzer
Acknowledge and reset alarms and troubles
Three buttons configurable with the engineering tool set
The display on the remote terminal is synchronized with 'Panels' of the configured
visibility and displays the same event texts.
There is a limit on the number of events which can be displayed. You will find details
of this in the corresponding chapter.

The maximum number of events which can be displayed is limited and depends on the
event text length. Assuming that long event texts apply, the following maximum
number of events can be displayed:
Extended view: 18
Standard view: 37
Details view: 20
Events are displayed by priority. Once the maximum number of events which can be
displayed is reached, events of a higher priority take the place of those of a lower
priority in the display.
Events which are no longer displayed due to this limit can be listed in full on the
control panel.
