INSTALLATION & APPLICATION GUIDE
Product Description
The Delta Douglas Lighting Controller is a Native BACnet
Application Controller that communicates on a BACnet
MS/TP RS-485 LAN. The controller is designed for lighting
applications and can switch from 12 up to 36 Douglas lighting
relay outputs per controller. The controller also supports up to
12 Delta BACstats connected on its LINKnet subnetwork.
Lighting algorithms are written in Delta's powerful GCL+
programming language. Both firmware and controller
databases are loadable over the network and are backed
up/loaded to/from flash memory.
With its board dimension and capability of switching up to 36
Douglas lighting relays, this controller is ideal to mount in
various Douglas relay enclosures for both new and retrofit
construction projects. The controller also includes a built-in
sequencer for sweeping through and turning all the lighting
relays on or off in a timed sequence. The controller is
completely programmable using GCL+, and BACnet objects
can be created and modified for the lighting application.

Delta Lighting Controller (Douglas Lighting) DLC-D312/624/936 (Rev 1.5c) Installation & Application Guide Network Topology Douglas Lighting Controllers are designed for installation into a system of V3.30 controllers, and are fully capable as peer-to-peer controllers on a BACnet MS/TP network as Subnet devices, typically with one System device (DCU or otherwise).
  • Page 15: Application Notes

Delta Controls Application Notes OBJECTS The Douglas Lighting Controller is a programmable device similar to other Application Controllers. Some objects are automatically created on initial startup (i.e., default database). All other objects are user-created or deleted as necessary. However, it is important to highlight how certain objects are uniquely used within the lighting controller in association with the I/O and other product features.
