STARTING COLD ENGINE
WARNING
WHEN ENGINE IS STARTED, CONFIRM IF THERE
IS NOT ANY ABNORMAL VIBRATION OR SOUND.
IF THERE IS ABNORMAL VIBRATION OR SOUND,
ASK YOUR DEALER TO REPAIR.
• Move choke lever up to CLOSED position.
• Move shutter control lever down to CLOSE position
(duster) or close valve (mister).
• Push purge bulb until fuel is visible in clear fuel return
line.
• Move throttle control lever to START position 1 or 2
and securely hold the machine, pull starter handle
several times until first firing sound.
NOTE
• Check unit for loose nuts, bolts and screws before
starting.
• Always clear work area of debris before starting
operation.
• Always hold the unit firmly on the ground.
• When pulling starter handle, use short pulls, 1/2 to
2/3 of rope length.
• Do not allow the starter handle to snap back against
the housing.
• Move choke lever down to OPEN position. Restart the
engine and allow to warm up for a few minutes, before
using.
STARTING WARM ENGINE
• Move throttle control lever to START position 1 or 2.
• Move choke lever up to OPEN position.
• If fuel tank is not empty, pull starter one to three times
and engine should fire. Do not use choke.
• If fuel tank is empty, after refilling, push the purge bulb
(until fuel is visible in clear fuel return line) and then
pull the starter. Do not use choke.
NOTE
If engine does not start after 4 pulls, use cold starting
procedures.
STOPPING ENGINE
• Move shutter control lever down to CLOSE position
(duster) or close valve (mister).
• Then let engine run at idle for cooling down.
• Move throttle control lever down STOP position.
WARNING
IF ENGINE DOES NOT STOP, MOVE CHOKE
LEVER UP TO CLOSE POSITION TO STALL
ENGINE. HAVE YOUR ECHO DEALER INSPECT
AND REPAIR.
NOTE
Carburettor has been correctly adjusted in factory. Do
not readjust yourself unless it is necessary. It should
be readjusted by ECHO dealer.
