4.5 Software Updates

Each component of the Turf Tank System is governed by software. The software for each component is updated
differently.

4.5.1 Update Robot Software

The Robot Control Unit software and the Turf Tank App software must be running the same version to operate. The
versions are compared each time the Turf Tank App is connected to the Robot.
If the Robot software is outdated, an
Check for updates in the Turf Tank App at any time by navigating to:
MORE > SETTINGS >
Once updated, the Robot reboots, and the Turf Tank App returns to the Home Screen.
Every time the Turf Tank App is connected to the Robot the App will check if the Robot needs to be updated. If an
update exists the App will initiate a robot update process.
If you cannot update right at that moment, you can hit the
and the Robot will be lost. You will not be able to autonomously operate the Robot until the App is updated.
If you choose ABORT and then wish to update the Robot a bit later, you must restart the App to receive the Update
prompt again.

• If the Robot update process is aborted the connection between the App and Robot is lost.
• The Robot will not operate until it is updated.
• The Robot will keep asking to be updated.
