Installation Considerations

Inspect the showerpipe for shipping dam-
age before installation. Claims for ship-
ping damage made after the showerpipe
is installed will not be honored.
• For best results, Hansgrohe recommends that this
unit be installed by a licensed, professional plumber.
• Do not install this showerpipe in a steam shower.
• Please read over these instructions thoroughly
before beginning installation. Make sure that you
have all tools and supplies needed to complete the
installation.
• The installation dimensions shown in this installation
instruction are ideal for people of approximately
6' in height. The dimensions can be changed if
required. In this case, the minimum ceiling height
of 89¼" from the standing surface, and all other
measurements, must be changed.
• Make sure that the wall is strong enough to support
the showerpipe. The wall must be reinforced at the
mounting points.
• The area where the top mounting piece is to be
installed must be flat and free of protruding grout
joints, etc.
• The enclosed screws and anchors are suitable for
a solid surface wall. For other wall constructions,
select mounting hardware and reinforcement
suitable for that specific construction.
