CLEANING OF SPINDLE AND CHUCK

The spindle and the collet chuck must be cleaned weekly to maintain the accuracy of the
milling results and to avoid damage to the spindle.
The spindle can be cleaned in the milling unit. To do that, turn on the compressed air.

In order to do so, open the folder "milling bur selection" and click
"open spindle".
The clamping device of the spindle is now open and ready for
cleaning. Open the splash guard with the large spanner wrench.
Hold the rear shaft of the collet chuck with the large spanner wrench.
Hold the front shaft of the collet chuck with the small spanner wrench
and open it with a left turn.
Unscrew the chuck manually.
Clean the inside of the spindle with the collet cone.
