• In low-pressure differential control, the cut-in (operation start)/cut-off
(operation stop) pressure is set similarly to a conventional constant
speed device, and operation start and stop are controlled therewith.
• Set the pressure with each of the operating pressure and cut-off
pressure setting switch and the cut-in pressure setting switch.
• Set the cut-off pressure using MPa units up to two decimal places and
selection
indicate whether it is positive or negative. The diagram below illustrates
a setting of +0.15 MPa.
Setting pressure (low-pressure constant control)
• The cut-in pressure setting should be at least 0.03 MPa higher than the
cut-off pressure setting.
The diagram below illustrates a setting of +0.33 MPa.
Cut-off pressure difference (low-pressure constant control)
• The settings for the cut-in pressure and the cut-off pressure should
always be in the saturation pressure range of the evaporation
temperature used in the condensing unit. (see the table below.)
When the pressure is set outside this range, control is performed to use
the nearest upper limit or lower limit value within the range. Also, an
error is displayed if the cut-in pressure is equal to or less than the cut-off
pressure, and the device will not operate.

• The operating speed is set using the maximum operating speed setting
switch. Set the operating speed in accordance with the refrigerating
capacity and cooling load being used.
The refrigerating capacity at various operating speeds is given in the
reference materials.

* The operation speed selection switch may be raised over a maximum frequency
setting for each model, but cannot be set higher than the maximum frequency.
• Once setting is complete, switch the condensing unit power supply
(breaker) ON to start operation.
Control operation
• Operation starts once delay control (maximum duration approximately 3
minutes) is complete after power supply activation.
The condensing unit operates at a constant operating speed of 40 Hz
for 90 seconds after startup. Afterward, operation starts and stopped in
accordance with the set cut-in/cut-off pressure values.
