Fault
The refrigerator is not
adequately cooling.
The refrigerator is out
of order. The refrigera-
tor can not be switched
on by the control
panel.

Fault messages and signal tones

NOTE
• All faults of the type ERROR must be reset manually.
• All faults of the type WARNING are reset automatically once the fault
has been rectified.
• Contact customer service if you cannot remedy the fault yourself.
All faults are indicated with a warning symbol, a fault ID and a beep. The beeping
lasts for 2 minutes and is repeated every 30 minutes until the error has been rectified.
If multiple faults occur, the display shows the last fault. The underlying faults are
displayed after the last fault has been confirmed.

Possible cause
The ventilation around the
cooling unit is not sufficient.
The evaporator is iced up.
The temperature is set too
high.
The ambient temperature is
too high.
Too much food at once was
placed in the refrigerator.
Too much warm food at once
was placed in the refrigerator.
The refrigerator has not been
operating for very long.
The DC fuse is defective.
Troubleshooting
Proposed solution
Check that the ventilation grill is
not obstructed.
Check whether the refrigerator
door is properly closed.
Make sure that the refrigerator seal
fits correctly and is not damaged.
Defrost the refrigerator.
Set a lower temperature.
Remove the ventilation grill for a
while so that warm air can escape
quicker.
Remove an item.
Remove the warm food and leave
it to cool down before putting it in
again.
Check the temperature again after
four or five hours.
Check the DC fuse (2 A).
