Connecting the freezer
e
Warning – danger of damaging the device!
Disconnect the freezer and other consumers from the battery
before you connect the battery to a quick charging device.
Overvoltage can damage the device electronics.
The freezer can be operated with 12 V or 24 V DC.
For safety reasons the freezer is equipped with an electronic system to pre-
vent the polarity reversal. This protects the freezer against short-circuiting
when connecting to a battery.
e
Warning – danger of damaging the device!
To avoid voltage drops and loss of performance, keep the cable as
short as possible and avoid joins.
For this reason avoid additional switches, plugs or multi-way
adapters.
If an extension cable is required: Determine the required cross section of
the cable in relation to the cable length according to fig. 2, page 3.

e
Warning – danger of damaging the device!
Make sure that the polarity is correct.
Before starting up the device for the first time, check whether the
operating voltage and the battery voltage match (see type plate).
Fit the positive wire (fig. 3 rd, page 4) with a fuse (fig. 3 3, page 4) at
least:
– 12 V: 15 A
– 24 V: 7.5 A
Plug the 12/24-V connection cable (fig. 3 1, page 4) into the connection
socket on the freezer (fig. 1 1, page 3).
Connect the red cable (fig. 3 rd, page 4) to the positive terminal of the
battery (fig. 3 2, page 4).
