Power Head Wiring ower irinG 1. Remove the power head’s front cover by removing the four (4) screws using a 1/4” nut driver. See Figures 13 & 14. 2. To wire the blower motor, use the supplied wire nuts to connect the two loose blower motor leads to the incoming power that was routed through the rear strain relief.

User Control Wiring Remote Control (Urbana Fireplaces Only) - The Chase Comfort kit may be wired to the fireplace via the unused comfort fan circuit (X10) on the existing IFC terminal block (see Figure 16). This will allow for on/off and 6 speed level control via the fireplace’s remote control.

Maintenance & Service isChArGe AmPer An external duct damper is NOT required with this kit. The Chase Comfort Kit is equipped with an internal sealing damper that closes whenever the blower is not in operation, sealing off the chase from the outside. Whenever the blower is turned on, air from the chase will flow out of the power head discharge automatically opening the damper.
