Auto: Select this option to let SMCWAPS-G send out a DCHP
request during boot up. If you have a DHCP server on the
network, the SMCWAPS-G will receive an automatic IP
address and subnet mask assignment. If there is no DHCP
server on the network, the SMCWAPS-G will be a DHCP
server on the network.
Static: You can manually configure the IP address and subnet
mask of SMCWAPS-G.
Server Settings: (These information would be used when you
choose Server mode or Static mode.)
Subnet Mask: subnet mask of your network.
IP Pool: decide the IP address range that DHCP server could
offer.
Primary DNS / Secondary DNS: This feature allows you to
assign DNS Servers. You could get this information from your
ISP.
Gateway: The gateway IP address would be the IP address
of an alternate gateway. If you do not know how to setup the
gateway, please contact your network administrator or ISP.
Client List: When SMCWAPS-G is as a DHCP server, here
will show some information of DHCP client.
Fixed Mapping: DHCP server can assign the same IP
address to a certain "MAC address".
