Cleaning the lint fi lter
The lint fi lter must be cleaned after each load.
1. Grasp the fi lter holder handle and pull it
towards you to open the lint fi lter.
2. Open the lint fi lter. Use your thumb to press
on the edge as illustrated and pull it out.
3. Use your hand or a soft cloth to remove the
lint from all sides of the fi lter. If necessary,
use a damp sponge and a small amount of
washing-up liquid to remove any deposits.
Dry the fi lter thoroughly with a towel.
NOTE!
Clean the surface of the lint (fl uf) fi lter after each
drying program.
4. To close the lint fi lter, follow the reverse order
of steps used for opening. Then, replace the
fi lter by sliding it back into the door. Close the
lint fi lter before closing the door.
NOTE!
Clean the fi lters after each drying.
Do not replace the fi lters if they are damp or
wet. Damp or wet fi lters could cause operational
faults.
NOTE!
The dryer should never be operated without
the fi lters in place, or with damaged fi lters as
excessive amount of accumulated fi bres from
the fabric could cause malfunction or failure of
the dryer.
